Candidate App - Biometric Chip Scanning

    A new version of the candidate app has been published to the app store. We have noted a drop in Biometric Chip failures, however we will continue to monitor this.

    INCORRECT UPDATE PROVIDED. The new release of the candidate app is still being tested. You will be updated when approved and released. Apologies for the mis-information.

    A fix for a new release of the candidate app is being tested in order to resolve this issue. Our plan is to complete testing and publish the release on Monday 15th June, however it will need to be authorised by both Google and Apple before available on App Stores. We will continue to keep you updated.

    We have received reports of candidates struggling to use their device to scan Biometric Chips within passports. This is currently being investigated, please ensure you have the most up to date version of the app downloaded. If you are still experiencing the same issue then please contact support@experianrtw.co.uk with any information you can provide around the Candidate Device Type and Operating system.
